Services
-
Division strategy and brand structure
Decide whether the boiler work lives under your current name, a sub-brand or a separate brand, and what the first year must prove.
-
Technician, licensing and parts readiness
Line up the people, credentials and stock a boiler division needs before the first ad goes live.
-
Dedicated boiler division website
A site built only around boiler questions, so homeowners and property managers call the division, not the general line.
-
Google Business Profile and local search
Get the division found on Maps and local results for boiler searches in the towns you can actually reach.
-
Division P&L and launch tracking
Track the division as its own business, so you know by month nine whether it is paying its way.
Most HVAC companies already do some boiler work. A technician who knows hydronics takes the odd call, a boiler replacement comes in through a furnace customer, a property manager asks if you service the building's plant. The question is whether that scattered work should become a division: its own people, its own stock, its own marketing and its own profit and loss. BoilerConsulting.ca exists to help owners answer that question with numbers, and then to launch the division properly if the answer is yes.
We are a marketing and business consulting service for HVAC and heating companies in Canada. We are not an HVAC contractor: we don't install, repair or service boilers, and we don't offer engineering, mechanical design, inspection or code-compliance services. Your licensed people do the work. We help you decide how to package it, price it, staff around it and get it found.
The model: a boiler division with its own front door
The clearest example we can show is GasBoilers.ca, a gas-boiler division built for CANRO Heat. Today its service area spans 26+ BC communities, and its Google profile shows 5.0★ from 76+ Google reviews. What matters for an owner thinking about the same move is the shape of it: boiler work given a name, a website and a Google presence of its own, rather than buried as one line on a general HVAC menu.
That shape is what we help you build. The results page shows GasBoilers.ca next to our other boiler and heating work, and explains which parts of each result you can reasonably expect to carry over.
Six decisions every boiler division has to make
A division fails less often from bad marketing than from decisions nobody made on purpose. Before we spend a dollar on ads, we work through these with you:
- Brand structure. Same name, sub-brand or separate brand. Each has a different cost, speed and resale story. See division strategy.
- People. Who will run boiler calls, what certifications your province expects, and what happens when that one hydronic specialist books a holiday.
- Parts and stock. Which boilers, controls and common failure parts you carry on the truck and on the shelf, and how much cash that ties up.
- The front door. A dedicated boiler division website and its own Google Business Profile.
- The first-year sequence. What launches in month one, what waits until the division has reviews, and when to judge it.
- The P&L. Revenue, direct costs, marketing and overhead tracked for the division alone, set up through division P&L tracking.
A quick test before you commit
Here is a simple check you can run this week, using your own figures. Pull every boiler-related invoice from the last twelve months. Count the jobs, add the revenue, and note how many came in without any boiler marketing at all.
Suppose you find 40 boiler jobs averaging $4,000 each, so $160,000 in revenue you never marketed for. If dedicated marketing doubled that volume, the division would add another $160,000 a year in sales. Whether that is worth it depends on your gross margin and what the marketing, stock and extra technician hours cost, which is exactly what the P&L guide walks through. These are illustrative figures for the arithmetic, not a forecast.
If you find only five boiler jobs a year, that is useful too. It may mean the demand is there and nobody can find you for it, or it may mean your market heats mostly with something else. The areas we cover pages show how heating fuel use differs across provinces.
Who we work with
We work with established heating and cooling companies across Canada that already have a licensed team, a reputation and a reason to believe boiler work could grow. Typical situations:
- a furnace-and-air-conditioning company getting more hydronic calls than it can route properly
- a company with one or two boiler-capable technicians who want a division to grow into
- an owner thinking ahead to a sale, who knows a clean, separately tracked division is easier to value
We're less useful if you have no one on staff who can work on boilers yet. In that case, the first step is hiring, and we can only help you plan that, not do it.

Build the division's front door
Brand decision, dedicated website, Google Business Profile, tracking and a first-year marketing sequence, in that order.
Talk it through
Bring your questions about staffing, stock or brand structure. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.
Frequently asked questions
What does BoilerConsulting.ca actually do?
We plan and market boiler divisions for existing HVAC and heating companies: the brand structure, the website, the Google profile, the launch campaigns and the tracking that tells you whether the division is profitable. We are a marketing and business consulting service. We are not an HVAC contractor and never install, repair or service boilers.
Is this the same thing GasBoilers.ca did?
GasBoilers.ca is the model we point to: a gas-boiler division built for CANRO Heat, whose service area reaches 26+ BC communities and whose profile carries 5.0★ from 76+ Google reviews. Your division will be shaped by your own market, team and numbers, so we use the model as a reference, not a template.
Do we need a separate brand for the boiler division?
Not always. A separate brand helps when boiler buyers search differently from your furnace and air conditioning customers, or when you want the division to be sellable later. A sub-brand under your current name is cheaper and faster when your existing reputation already carries weight. The strategy service walks through the trade-offs.
Can you help us hire boiler technicians or check their licences?
We help you plan the staffing and credential side as a business question: how many people, which certifications to look for, and which regulator to check in your province. We do not verify licences, give code-compliance advice or offer engineering, mechanical design or inspection services.
How long before a new boiler division gets steady calls?
It depends on your market, your existing reputation and your budget, so nobody can promise a date. As a planning rule, paid search can produce calls within weeks, while organic search and reviews build over several months. We set month-by-month checkpoints so you can judge progress honestly.
What does it cost?
Monthly marketing plans start at $2,998/month and websites start at $3,500, in Canadian dollars plus GST/HST by province. You can begin with a 7-day free trial; we don't ask for a credit card and nothing locks you in. Strategy-only work is quoted in writing.
